Håkan Persson, with many years of experience in running and developing listed technology companies, is appointed new CEO of Smoltek. He will assume the position in October.

Håkan Persson most recently comes from the position as Interim SVP Sales & Strategy for the biometrics company Next Biometrics, which is listed in Norway. He has previously been CEO or interim CEO of other listed technology companies such as Neonode, Precise Biometrics and Scalado, and has held several leading positions with sales and operational responsibility within the northern European part of IBM.

“Smoltek is in an expansive and exciting phase with potential to reach the market with its ultra-thin CNF-MIM capacitors for the semiconductor industry, as well as in new focus areas where electrolyzers for industrial hydrogen production is the leading project so far. It will be an exciting challenge to realize this potential together with the technically skilled and innovative Smoltek team, and I look forward to contribute with my knowledge and experience from similar situations” , says Håkan Persson.

Smoltek’s interim CEO Marie Landfors will be available to the company to ensure a smooth handover to the Company’s new CEO.

Håkan Persson will assume the position of CEO of Smoltek by October. More information about his accession will be published continuously.
