During one of the most unprecedented years in the industry, SurplusGLOBAL marked its 20th-anniversary by donating over 34,000 masks to customers as well as local disabled people during the onset of COVID-19 pandemic. To support customers, the company offered virtual inspections using Microsoft HoloLens technology. In 2020, SurplusGLOBAL was awarded an “IBK Partner Certification” for outstanding performance and dedication to international trade.
SurplusGLOBAL is a global full-service asset management company, providing IDMs, OEMs and 3rd party infrastructure with available core tools from legacy technology to current mass production needs. The company has recycled more than 30,000 used semiconductor process tools, reducing carbon emissions by 130,000 tons. In October 2020, the PC slab frame of its new Semiconductor Equipment Cluster in Korea was completed. Opening in June 2021, this the six-story, 68,317m2 facility will house offices, meeting rooms, cleanroom, and T/H cont. warehouse.
