A live webinar on Recovery and Growth Areas After COVID-19 kicks off virtual programming May 20th.

[May 15, 2020 – Research Triangle Park, NC ] — IMAPS is pleased to announce several new series of virtual learning opportunities for the semiconductor packaging industry, including a Global Business Council Live Webinar on Recovery and Growth Areas After COVID-19, a Live Technical Webinar Series, a Live Virtual Workshop on Thermal Management, and a series of On-Demand Professional Development Courses. These opportunities have been developed with the COVID-19 business climate in mind.

This virtual programming will kick off May 20th with an IMAPS Global Business Council Live Webinar on Recovery and Growth Areas After COVID-19. This webinar will feature real-time presentations beginning at 12pm Eastern time from Jan Vardaman of TechSearch International and Jeorge Hurtarte of Teradyne, followed by a question and answer session with participants. Registration for this event is free for IMAPS members and students. Non-member registration is $50. Interested attendees can register at www.imaps.org.

A Live Technical Webinar Series will begin in June and continue throughout the summer. IMAPS is proud to announce the commitment of John Park, Cadence Design Systems, for the June 17th technical presentation entitled “This is Not Your Father’s Semiconductor Packaging: An EDA Perspective.” Registration is now open. Stay tuned to the IMAPS events calendar for continuous updates on the slate of live technical webinar presentations.

Industry participants should also mark their calendars for an upcoming Live Virtual Workshop on Thermal Management scheduled for June 10th. This workshop will feature six live presentations on Thermal Management topics for a full-day event. The technical program and registration details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Finally, a new On Demand Professional Development Course option is in development. These self-paced on-demand courses are designed by popular IMAPS PDC instructors. The on-demand setting will encourage members to learn at their own pace in a convenient online setting. Program scheduling will be announced soon.

Access to all webinars in the Global Business Council Webinar Series and the Live Technical Webinar Series are free for IMAPS members and students. Non-member registration is $50 per webinar.
